I am not making this a male Vs female debate, I am just saying that in a court of law, how can you say a wife or husband deserve x amount.

My mother raised me and my two sisters and still pursed a career, so I believe that argument is false.

I just don't think is fair that someone who produces creative material should give up x amounts of money from the gross profit of that material unless it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that, that person contributed.

And just because Robyn married him when he had nothing, doesnt give her the right to take the mans money.

How do you know that Robyn didn't contribute. She could have been a sounding board for his ideas, she could have hosted his business dinners. Heck, given his history of substance abuse, she could have been the one that kept him sane so he could make all that freakin money. In fact she said he kept her sane.

It's not like Robyn married Mel when he already had millions of dollars, she married the guy when he was an unknown actor and stuck with him for 28 years giving him 7 freakin children.

Besides when a woman gives up her career so that the man's children could be taken care of doesn't that matter, when she provides him with a comfortable home where he can relax and think doesn't that matter.

Now if Mel had came into the marriage with all that money it's a different matter. But that's not the case here. Robyn married him when he had next to nothing.
